Honesty,
integrity and professionalism are not just words to George, but the manner in
which he has performed residential real estate services for over 35 years.
Graduating with a BS in Mathematics, George became a
permanent resident of Denver in 1971. After 9 years of working in the construction
industry, he decided on residential real estate as the career that offered the best of independence, variety
and unlimited opportunities.
George
has participated in over 250 hours of workshop and tutorial programs to better
understand and perform the tasks of an expert Relocation Counselor.
Relocating
over 200 families in his career has allowed George to be regularly referred
by agents and relocation companies throughout the country to handle both their
incoming and outbound transferees.
In
2009, George received his Certified Short Sale Professional (CSP) designation
to better assist Seller’s in selling their over-encumbered property.
Additionally,
George has been awarded the designation of Certified Negotiation Expert
(CNE). George is now better prepared to assist in negotiations to his Buyer's and Seller's when they present or are presented an
offer to purchase.
George
has performed the tasks of Managing Broker for two Real Estate Brokerages,
developing training programs for both new and experienced agents.
Because
of George's construction experience, new homes have been a natural for him to
sell and in some years, have accounted for more than 65% of his transactions. Home builders appreciate his knowledge of current
construction techniques and their processes so much that George has served on
Builder/Realtor focus panels, as well as being a member of the Denver Builder
Realtor Council (BRC). These panels are made up of qualified Realtors who
are encouraged to render their input and suggestions to the New Home Builders
pertaining to minimum standard inclusions, upgrades and sensible floor plans.
George
gets deep satisfaction helping others by volunteering at Habitat for Humanity,
Littleton Town Hall Arts Center, Volunteers of America Handyman, is President of his Homeowner's Association all while trying to be
the best Grandpa in the world! He's been known to give a friend a helping
hand and puts on his tool belt when needed.
In
between he finds time for the occasional round of golf,
gourmet cooking, a work-out at the gym or fishing on a lake or river.
A
Caribbean cruise is his idea of the great escape and visits to Europe on land or cruising the rivers also high on
his list!
